Groupon and Boohoo problem

I bought a voucher from Groupon cost £7.50 and gave me £15 credit to spend at Boohoo. I should have realized it was "too good to be true" when the terms and conditions said I had to pay £3.99 delivery (Boohoo were running a free delivery day, but I could not use that code with my Groupon, so my overall saving was only a pathetic £3.51). Anyway, thought the stuff looked nice for my holiday so I bought four items and spent £45. But two of the items are way too big, and I returned them. The items cost me £24 but Boohoo have only refunded me £15 cos they said they "spread the Groupon over the four items I bought". This is against the terms and conditions, which say any items returned will be put on my account as a credit. Indeed, altho Boohoo say they have refunded me, I dont have money in my bank or credit on my account.

I have had a similar thing happen, I kept contacting them and requesting to speak to a supervisor.
They did not back down at all, sticking to what they stated were their t&cs.
Groupon deals like this seem to not include provision for returns.
I understand it though as if I returned all but 1 item I would end up with somehting for free, but I would have thought by giving you credit they get round this but Nooooooo!

Painful but not a lot you can do apart from trying the good cop bad cop approach, try being nice and next call try being angry.
