leaking dishwasher hose - any ideas?

My dishwasher drain hose keeps leaking out of the connection with my undersink drain.

No matter how hard I push or twist the rubber hose onto the plastic connection, when the dishwasher runs, the pressure seems to push the hose backwards, and about half a pint of water comes out under the sink.

Has this happened to you? Any suggestions whether I need new hose or what?

You need to secure it with a jubilee clip.

That's very good advice. Do you know any dishwasher technicians ? Oh, wait, hang on - you seem to be one, according to your website.


My only slight concern would be your callout fee - I imagine it's quite high if you're coming all the way from Canada ? But I'll happily pay you in kind - with a couple of tins of Spam.
