How to use contactless cards for more than one person

Hi, I'm going to London in a few days with my son and want to use my Santander contactless credit card to pay for the tube rides. But how will I pay for my 15 yr old son? Do I just pass the card back to him for him to use? Is this allowed?

Is a 15 yr old fare the same as an adult or would I be overpaying doing this?

Just thinking as I type I could get a lend of my wife's Santander contactless credit card and he could use it (if 15 yr olds are priced the same as an adult)

Or do I need to get my son another way of payment like an oyster card? Thanks in advance for any help......;)
