RBS royalties gold

I've had a royalties gold account for years, I used it because they insure me to travel for £90 a year (cheap when you have a transplant and a pacemaker) and cover my phone.
Recently I killed my phone and went online to claim the insurance. Went onto rbs royalties website and gold has disappeared. Apparently I'm now a platinum customer but no one has bothered to tell me.
I nipped into the branch today and asked about it and was given a leaflet explaining the benefits of the platinum account but they look the same as the gold benefits, am I missing something?

They have just re-branded it, they might of added or taken a few things away, so its best to read through the paperwork to see if the account still meets your needs. All Royalties Gold customers moved to Select Platinum on 26th June 2015.

Wondered when they would finally ditch Gold. Quite a big price increase.0

The only significant change in benefits is on the breakdown cover, before it was a tow to the local garage, now it's full recovery anywhere in the UK. Existing customers are getting the (slightly) upgraded account but still paying the original fee, so it's a bit of a win.0

Only until the end of 2015 though. Price goes to £16pm then.0
