BLEEP! I didn't notice dates, will amend post. TY for checking

    Don't swear!
:rotfl:...It's alright, I'm being funny... or making a failed attempt and not being.
I think you're okay - there's enough ambiguity in there and not specific about what you mean (I'll pretend you mean to sound like a supermarket checkout:rotfl:).

Anyway, I've no objection to it (swearing) in itself - so, I'll just get back into my box now and shut up:silenced:!

Now who's going to give me a bum rub :p

Can I suggest that you go get yourself some Arnica gel or cream to get rid of that bruise quickly?
Poor you, the only consolation you have is that it shouldn't have been picked up at all BUT as it has and at a very early stage, you & they can beat it.
I'm sure there are some males on here that would be more than willing to assist you.:) Take care

Well I've learned so much today
All these tests I've been having are called 'stratification' a fairly new way of dealing with this disease by looking further into the bad boy cells and being able to 'sub set' them and predict the chances of progression. Not only that but looking at chromosomes and genetic markers to even predict what part of your body might be attacked. Very scientific but fascinating as well.

Some people.....especially elderly people may rather not know and prefer to have no early intervention. I'm not in that position. My usual consultant (not the one I saw today) says if I get re-staged to active myeloma, I will be the youngest patient he's ever had with it :o even all the stats don't deal with or acknowledge patients under 50.

Makes me wonder how many younger people have it and don't know

Aww bless you. Asterixes and bleeps in one night must've sent you into overdrive :o

In the context of things it means nothing on here....well the asterixes anyway. The BLEEP was unfortunate but was just showing someones frustrations :A De-sensitise savvy :);)

I've still some more items to add to the M list (page 3 on 40 posts setting) but I'll try to add those tomorrow daytime (probably afternoon or evening). Good night.

I'm very sore :o so I'm going to bed. I'm still of the opinion I'll work tomorrow but the people around me aren't!

    We will see.

    Goodnight :)

    well guessed bubbs :rotfl:

Hopefully the sofa will come apart. Most modern sofas have arms that come off especially to help get them through doorways.

Very sorry to hear LS is having a rough time but in the best place now (hopefully)

Another photo coming up in a bit but tablet doesn't like me posting photos so will have to do from phone.

Had my eyes tested today. Driving glasses needed stronger lenses and managed to get him to change reading glasses for close work ones. Don't need for reading as easy to change font size but various crafts I enjoy need close work. Very mse cost me £40 for the 2 sets of lenses.

Not really - more your use of the letter "x" there instead of "asterisks":p - I insist, it be only spelled that way! I wish I was desensitised - unfortunately (this is the strange) got caused offence again tonight by the TV (some would be offended that I've written "TV" instead of "television":rotfl:) - racially offensive language earlier on - only being used by a couple of people to describe what they had been called - I was 'alright' with two uses, but a third - I felt my heart tighten half a minute after I'd heard it (again, all only in quotation) and then felt stress. They'd warned of content that might distress people - but that was insufficient for me - no content normally distresses me (such as images of things) so I kept watching and the advisory was not clear enough and was not specific about what was actually going to be broadcast. Then, the strange thing is I went out for a walk - and passed two people loudly talking to each other (context: no shouting aggressively or anything) - you couldn't hear them from the houses but could from the street as I walked past them - he was 'swearing' (derivative of sixth letter of alphabet word) and it caused me no problem at all, in fact it rather lightened the mood of my trip down the street (no one else was there besides those two and me). I seem to have a problem exclusively with broadcasting, on occasions, but not with real life. I think they're free to swear on the street, as they see it's a 'young man' like me and therefore, correctly, assume I'm not bothered whereas they would not if it were an elderly person around. (Or, maybe they just don't notice my presence as there's no body language signals being conveyed subliminally to them:rotfl: - anyway, I'm really not bothered with it - it doesn't matter (to me) - it causes me no heart sink or anything (very strange) and then the TV earlier... it sort of does - but maybe that's because the racially offensive language is far far more severe - like I think I said last week they allow this much more offensive stuff on before 9pm and then prohibit the less severe words - instead changing them in sound, because of that ban, to make them more offensive than even the actual words or, sometimes, to reduce their impact somewhat but remain still offensive.)

But there I am, with stuff that's showing what horrors go on in the world (quite acceptable to broadcast as opposed to the actual things in real life) and believe me the TV does sanitise that a lot - and I'm perfectly "fine" (in the sense of no adverse emotional impact on me) with that material (which I assumed they were warning about) and then I hear a word, not even used in an abusive sense but merely quotation - a mere mention, rather than a use, of what someone had been called (actually there were three mentions and it cumulated up) - and with that I'm physically affected by it. I think that, rationally, it's bizarre that I'm caused emotional stress offence and wrong that I am (or maybe it's not wrong, I don't know, as it is offensive. However, I'd have thought that killings of people were much much more offensive and seeing the aftermath of that would be more distressing and, yet, no distress caused to me!). Then I hear similar language all the time in rap music (alone at home in the same way), which some people consider to be unacceptable (e.g. older generations, and some younger ones, within black communities) and I have no problem with it. (In case it's not obvious, I'm white btw. Or, in fact, I'm multi-heritage, as I am probably 0.00000001% some other origin than white - technically everyone is multi-heritage.) As for the use of "Bleep!", I don't think that was unfortunate. So, we agree to disagree. It did make me think of a specific but anyway - who cares? It's not like seeing an asterisked version - that can be (but is not always) worse and it stands out. The use of "Bleep!" is not a bother - the thing is, for all I know, they really could have meant "bleep". And "bleep" isn't a swearword. (You know - I'd rather see the 'begins sixth letter alphabet' swearword:naughty: (don't think about it folks!;)) (might be absolutely hilarious).) But then I accept that some people would not. But then neither do I want to see or hear certain things sometimes in certain places and nobody takes account of my offence or changes anything for me.) In fact the use of "bleep" shows restraint. But then again they couldn't have posted what they really thought on this thread anyway. Yet they've communicated the same thing so is it any different? Anyway, you got me into it again - goodnight!

That's great FC. I wish sometimes they'd do a complete DNA & genetic markers for EVERYTHING on both of us. It sure would beat taking drugs that I'm sure are doing neither of us any favours BUT then again the pharmaceuticals wouldn't want us to do this - would they!:mad:

Hubby especially is worrying - he has a diagnosis of something that is causing many of his problems - Mast cells - the trouble is no-one seems to know, even the consultant, what he should do about it. It's like a throwaway - 'Oh Yes, you've got abnormal mast cells, I'm the consultant who knows all about this BUT I'm far too busy and important to see you again. You won't get another appointment." He left us with a few pages of badly photocopied leaflets, none of which were by this important personage. Actually when we read them they contradicted each other too! GRRRRR

One day we'll all have our chromosomes & genetic markers mapped, sadly by the time they do that we'll probably not be around. I personally think it's great they are doing this for you.
