We too got eaten alive on holiday. DH never normally gets bitten but he had 16 on one ankle at one point! I always seem to attract them so went prepared with spray, wipes and candles but it made no difference - I seemed to get a couple of new bites every evening

Feeling very autumnal here. Since getting back on Friday we've had hm tomato soup, runner beans with most meals and a blackberry and apple crumble. All very harvest like.

I've been buying gift cards as we've needed to spend quite a lot on DIY stuff lately, so gcs for either B&Q or Homebase in multiples of £50 to get the bonus points. Not much in the way of food though, but I will pop in sometime soon as I've got the Orchard fish vouchers to use. We use our club card points to pay for our RAC membership which is due in November, so as long as we have enough for that I'll be happy.

Lol, no. I don't think I could cope with that many runner beans. We grow them because they're easy but we get fed up with them very quickly
