Today's tomato harvest :o I have completely run out of space and tomato ideas now. Why did I plant so many?

I've also been pickling onions and shallots today :D first time I've ever did the pickling myself.

My dear departed Dad was Italian and had a massive greenhouse. He bottled his. Remove the skins pack into bottles or jars with maybe a little basil or olive oil. Put top on and then he put a load in an old boiler wrapped in t towels and boiled them. Not sure how long for but they kept us going all winter.

How's that packing coming along ...don't blame you not having housesitters after your awful experience last time:eek:do your Parents live close enough that they could just pop in and make sure things are okay.
Lunch time for me and then back out in the garden it is so hot I have had to change into a tshirt;) and cut the lawn and plant up 100 various bulbs ...determined to get them in early this year:T

I have done zero packing :o

My bestie came round with her girls so we sat out in the garden, went round to see the chickens, sat out in the garden some more, got the hammock out for the girls then I chucked the big one off so me and the little one could go on it and I tipped it up because my weight was all at one end :rotfl::rotfl: thankfully I'd already got the little one off it before it happened :) we had a picnic in the garden too so all told it's been a fab day :D:D

Hope you had a good day in the garden and got everything done that you needed to :)
