Just flicking through the T mag

Flora are starting a schools promotion called Tubs for Tablets. Tokens are inside tubs
2 for £2 promotional price from 23rd Sept to 24th Nov

    50 tokens = 1 Samsung Galaxy Tab

We could all make a difference by collecting these if any elite schools register for the scheme:T:T

Christmas cake - I have 2 full ones made 2.5years ago from the cake mix (Delia's) that we bought cheap in T's. I have fed them every few months and they are wrapped in parchment then foil in a tin. I was wondering whether to feed them again & put them in a machine vacuum sealed bag? Thoughts anyone? I think I've fed them already with nearly 1lt of brandy & the dregs would go on them before vacuuming them.

All this talk of cruising is driving me insane, I'm itching to get booking & we still have no dates for hubby's operations. He won't let me book anything. I NEED a holiday as does he. Sod's law if we booked something he'd have a date during time we booked. SO many cheap transatlantic available at the moment with free flights too.

FC - worrying time for you BUT just think if someone hadn't ticked the wrong box you'd be sailing along with no idea there was a problem. The problem has been caught extremely early so hopefully they'll have the solution way before you need it. It could be a blessing in disguise & hopefully it is for you.

Naebb - I can't spell it forwards, let alone backwards. Hope your mother & you are doing OK.

Rhosy - your daughter & g.children aren't going to be THAT far away, Hugs for you too.

Rose your daughter looks beautiful & that dress looks stunning on her. The bridesmaids were SO cute too. Bet you're so proud.

Hugs for everyone I've missed, it was a quick catch up.
Very frustrating, I hope you get a date soon so you can start making plans. I can't wait to be recovered so I can plan. Want to go to Manchester and see my friend and support her through a couple of chemo sessions as she is finding them hard. Also want to know I'll definitely be ok for the 2 cruises I've put deposits down on for next year. I'm sure I will be as one is a year away, but still.

Love travelling, and love having my next holiday already booked.

No. I don't use any chemicals on the weeds. Too many dogs/cats/chickens (and OH :o)wandering around.
Not even sure if this stuff would work on it? The roots are impossible to get to.

Not wanting to reopen the glyphosate debate:rotfl::eek:

But this would definitely work FC as its a systematic weed killer....it just has to touch the foliage and it'll get carried down to the roots.

Sun still shining......off down the field:T

:) He will know as this will be his 'goal'

But what I won't tell him is I have already booked it -
but will 'book it' when he has sat his exams - I want to go July time.
But the other thing is I won't know his results until August so he may muck about & say he has done well...
So do I book it for September?

    :o:o:o:o

    What to do?

I think you are lovely and generous x
