And there was me wondering how they give a sample of a bed head
Don't think I need a sample of this, just won't brush my hairWhat is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -

C&C shop collected yesterday, AvT, Udis still working. This was the 3rd or 4th shop in a row that Udis were unavailable, making my shop better than free after I refused the subs. This is great but I'm now starting to worry that they'll stop making them available to order online then I will be be screwed (sorry FC :rotfl: )
Out of interest have you had the email about the way they process payments changing?
If yes, this was received after 2nd September change so may mean we are still good to go. I understand a few test shops have been placed by some who have had the email so we will find out soon enough (unless not fully implemented yet given the difference between emails and online T&Cs).
Many thanks

I got my hair cut on Wednesday. This is what I wanted and how I imagined I'd be:
In reality it was more like this:
Apparently I don't articulate very well according to OH and I got exactly what I asked for (I thought I described very well what I wanted  ) Also he said I should not have used a cartoon picture for a haircut and it serves me right for getting my hair cut when he likes it to be longI am getting used to it now after the initial shock

Well had dreadful service yesterday.
Last week I took DD2's school skirt to the dry cleaners to have a new zip put in. Was told it would take a week which I was surprised about but as she doesn't go back to school till Monday said OK. When she took me to the till to process it I noticed a sign saying that they no longer take cheques and that ALL card payments are subject to a £2  surcharge. So had to make a note in my diary to take cash as I never have more than a few pence on me.
Anyway, went back yesterday and it hadn't been done!!! I was furious as its the only skirt she has for school. First they said she was behind, but later it emerged that she couldn't find the coloured zip! So why didn't they ring me!!! They said they would do it there and then if I waited. But no real apology  I was so tempted to walk out but desperately needed the skirt done.
Woman came to do it with her phone clamped between her chin and her shoulder carrying on a long conversation the whole time she was using the sewing machine:eek: Only took her five minutes.
I've never used that shop before and I most certainly won't be using it again!!0 -

I had the email and did a c&c yesterday and UDI's were fine
However, in my pending transactions on my credit card statement I have been charged 1p and the full price of my shopping though so no sign of the refund for OOS udi's. Will wait to see!

Just 50 Nectar points (£0.25) gets you any hot drink at Caffè Nero
http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/just-50-nectar-points-0-25-gets-any-hot-drink-caff-nero-2275775
Just bumping this up from yesterday
It only appeared later yesterday I think - checked the app in the morning and didn't see it but there again the new app is not exactly user friendly.
This morning I had an email from Quidco about their latest offers - the ones we usually ignore and/or delete
It said on my Quidco account I can get instore at caffe neros 50% cashback :j
So firstly I had to activate my card - the system recognized my normal nationwide number so I gave it the Barclaycard number. You then go to the home page top right, drop down menu and it lists all of the store where you can get instore cashback.
of these maybe 2 or 3 I use but I activated everything anyway.
I now have to wait 24 hours
I had a look at the terms and conditions and it seems you cant use it with any other offer so it might be an idea to get your 50 points nectar drink on a separate bill.
All of the food in Neros is overpriced but I suppose if you got a porridge tub then at least it would keep you away from the lurid delights of Greggs.
This is a very old Quidco account that didn't have a card registered to it before. My usual Quidco did have a card registered and on the odd times Ive had to buy OH a coffee its given me 17p or 22p, random ammounts of cashback.
The sad thing is that when I checked this account Neros cashback is a miserable 1% not the fabulous 50%
so it looks like this 50% cashback might just be for accounts which don't have a card activated and registered for instore cashback“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0
