I love this blogger. This post made me laugh so much. He is off to Sydney and doggies Winnie and George need a bath before they go to their dog sitters

Evening Elite!
I have an sada account and I've been banned from booking any click and collect slots at my local stores. Well the 2 I use. Other stores are fine.
Sorry to hear that. May we ask why? And how you found out? (you may wish to be vague so that you cannot be identified, sorry!)
And your account hasn't been suspended/closed or you couldn't order from elsewhere?
Seems an odd decision.

It all seems more than a trifle ambiguous to me ! You could read it that they are just not going to take any more than the initial 1p used to check the card until you actually get the order collected or delivered. Then they will take whats stated on the delivery note. The delivery note should continue to show the instore price so MIGHT not make any difference to our udi type shops. I can't see that they will get away with charging a higher, incorrect online price when even a complete numpty will be able to see that the instore price is a lot less ? If I was to place an order for an item shown online at, say , £5 each, collect it and be charged £5 each, I would certainly notice if I went instore and saw it on the shelf for £2. And I would return all my items to CS for a refund straight away.
They may have sussed out our devious shenanigans and be trying to stop it - or they may just be trying to sort out the customers who complain that, for several days, they are holding on to 2 lots of money from bank accounts - the full price AND the reduced price - and causing problems for anyone who is a bit short on their bank balance.
I guess we will find out fairly soon.
Quite agree. A mismatch between the FAq and the changed T&Cs - logged in the website doesn't currently reflect this consistently as it says guide price only and you will be charged the price in store on the day.
