    From their FAQs:

If they are doing the credit/debit bit at the end (two transactions), how is that easier/less complicated than simpy charging you the collected amount (one transaction)? Also if they are doing the credit, then they could still credit (or indeed debit) you any difference in the price instore.

It all seems more than a trifle ambiguous to me ! You could read it that they are just not going to take any more than the initial 1p used to check the card until you actually get the order collected or delivered. Then they will take whats stated on the delivery note. The delivery note should continue to show the instore price so MIGHT not make any difference to our udi type shops. I can't see that they will get away with charging a higher, incorrect online price when even a complete numpty will be able to see that the instore price is a lot less ? If I was to place an order for an item shown online at, say , £5 each, collect it and be charged £5 each, I would certainly notice if I went instore and saw it on the shelf for £2. And I would return all my items to CS for a refund straight away.

They may have sussed out our devious shenanigans and be trying to stop it - or they may just be trying to sort out the customers who complain that, for several days, they are holding on to 2 lots of money from bank accounts - the full price AND the reduced price - and causing problems for anyone who is a bit short on their bank balance.

I guess we will find out fairly soon.

Agreed, the first interview in so many years has to be hard, and the shear fact that you have got a trial day means they like you and you must have done well in the interview. You've also gained a qualification in the process, so it all bodes well for the future one way or another.

I was lucky, the first job I had once the kids were grown was one the manager asked me to do, no interview etc, just walked into it! Can't work now though what with helping my OH out with the business, never know when he is going to need me.

Think what I lacked in experience I made up for in enthusiasm lol. When she took me round the place I was thinking god I want this job so much it looks fab here. First job I've seen since I've been suffering with my problems that I feel sure I could do xx
