Oh well (I'm obviously not going to quote the whole lot folks), I notice got 3 thanks whilst a post immediately before about the actual APG and moneysaving got only two. (Three now I'm going to thank its writer.) You must obviously like my post, so, it's staying here and was appropriate, in a way, after all.

Alright, I'd bid you good afternoon. See you maybe after the weekend. (I'm actually waiting for petrol prices to come down, hopefully, and rationing my fuel use lol in the hope that they might do so in the next few days if I wait a little bit more - bet they won't:( - resorting to filling the absolute minimum to keep the car going until they do:rotfl::rotfl: Extreme money-saver or what? For the sake of a penny or two a litre!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:)

Wow gosh ! what do I say to that, perhaps its the era we were brought up in and the values and respect ( or perhaps fright)we had to our parents/elders and the morals which they instilled in us, have now made us question society, watershed times and the context of the spoken word.
Im pleased your heart is now not racing and after your essay you hopefully feel at ease.
I like the word 'neutral' and that's what I aim to be, I still have opinions but NEUTRAL is the word for today

Respect. Interesting - precisely what I feel was not accorded to me on these occasions.

Respect for elders? Hmmm... Actually, it's usually elderly people I find that have the least respect (apologies to any "older" people on here as I don't mean to include all elderly people) - these older people, so much lacking in respect.

They are. I had an old granny, I assume, the other week, talking rather loudly and rudely (not swearing but nonetheless - I know I'm inconsistent now:rotfl::rotfl: (I don't know why), all emotion illogic - suddenly I feel able to print) and wasn't very nice. Some (again I emphasis not many such people) can be quite ignorant. I have a story to tell you which actually happened the other week - I didn't mention this but now, anyway, I will... was actually pulling into M's car park, and the older man driver had not left enough room for me to turn into his lane so, to be on a safe side, I beckoned him to come forward. He did, and shouted through his window "Wierdo!" (totally no call for that at all I felt) and it did leave me somewhat upset for a few minutes. Completely unacceptable - so, yes, you can say something without any swearing and cause offence. Then previously I had my best friends call me the "most severe" word (sorry for the discussion - please skip if offends) and it cause me no offence at all. In fact, people never say that word in any situation in which it would cause me any offence - indeed people in this society avoid it even more so - so that word has never yet caused me any personal offence and I've never yet had a problem from it. It's offensive words like "wierdo" that need to be banned:rotfl::rotfl:. Especially when they carry a potential ring of truth that hurts. Certainly wasn't non-abusive there.

So, respect for your youngers. As well as your elders:T:T. (As well as people of the same age:rotfl:.) I don't see why it's a one-way street and a requirement merely to respect my elders, whilst not imposing a similar requirement on them, is, I find, a little rationally (fortunately not emotionally) disrespectful to me. All those elderly people in pubs that say "bloody" out very loudly and repeatedly when young children are around. So much lack of respect for me!(:rotfl:) No wonder the kids are dragged up when they learn such foul language as that:rotfl::rotfl:. They do though - they assume it is acceptable. Well, I may not find it to be (in fact it doesn't usually cause me offence but even so) - and that is part of respect. Then the sticklers who'll think me lacking of respect for quoting it:rotfl::rotfl:. I do understand these issues, uniquely though, if that's any consolation (and I'm sure it's precisely none:cool:).

    Afternoon

I've wangled an early finish from work. It's such a beautiful day and my garden needs attention. There's plums needing picking and I feel ill be drowning in tomatoes again by the time I'm finished. Goodness knows what these ones will end up as. I have enough sauce to last for months. Soups maybe?

Got sidetracked reading your posts Savvy. You're officially keeping me from my gardening  On a serious note some very thought provoking stuff and better out than in as they say ;)hug4.gif

I think I'll say get your bottom (I think that's what I'll say:rotfl:) off the fence!

Sorry, didn't mean to quote the same post a second time and come up with a second point. Nonetheless - anyway, it's done, so deal with it (yes I should also take my own advice, although easier said than done with emotion sometimes).

I'm nearly 80pages behind  so a catch up is not going to happen, life's far too short;).

So happy birthday, anniversary to anyone ive missed. Hope the poorlies amongst us as well on the way to recovery and big hugs to anyone who needs one(())

First day at school today for littleman... Well I say day it's only until after lunch this week and he loved it:j even told me when it was time for me to go home this morning :( I did shed a tear or two:(

Had a nightmare with school trousers all too baggy/ long totally Ill fitting. Finally found some in t yesterday size 3/4 that are still too big but not as bad as some we've tried on. Amazes me how most stores now cater for plus sized children but not the slimmer ones:( they should do half sizes:)

Had a fab time at centre parcs but came home with a lovely bruise:( I slipped getting off a slide with littleman... It's now a lovely purple colour and the size of my hand!!

Hi Savvy, lovely to see you posting. You have been missed very much.
Great to hear that you are getting back to neutral, fingers crossed that you will get there and stay there.
I suffered bad panic attacks years ago, when they first started I thought I was going to die :o. Heart pounding, sweating, feeling faint etc etc. anyway, enough if me.
You take things easy and make sure you do keep with us. Morrisons can wait, you are more important than them x

Yes that's right. I've been there. It was that stupid council official that got me. I wrote saying "please treat me with kidgloves and absolute delicate care" and they wrote with the most harsh, instructive ordering email that they could manage. It caused me extreme further serious offence and a panic attack and I had to visit my doctors to get my prescription bumped up. I believe that, technically, their email amounted to the commission by that individual of a section 47 assault occasioning actual bodily harm against myself. (Of course I did not go to the police - as felt over a seemingly trivial issue. Although it's effect was anything but.) All the elements of offence I think were made out and, indeed, I did have to seek medical treatment which is also usually part of the requirement. It is not essential to a section 47 (as distinct from 39 common assault) that any physical contact has to take place: Rv Ireland case (pre-1997 harassment act authority that, to my mind and I may be wrong as I'm not a qualified lawyer, is still good authority). They also knew of the foreseeability of my reaction and had been specifically advised of the possibility and ignored it.

hope l s had a good night and all is well xx
have a good first day back tweets, ds3 does not go back until tomorrow, hoping he will get his exam results then.

hugs to savvy I dont understand all you post but love reading them and miss you when you dont, and hate it when you are having it tough xxx

Oh well - waffling not there to be understood perhaps (although anyone who really does want to understand can re-read things until they do).

Look, no need for "hate" as such - that's a very strong word. I'd almost always leave it as mere "dislike". Even those songs in that environment, I don't "hate", I just dislike - as in don't like being caused offence. I consider them thoroughly unacceptable (and that wrangles me) which is even a worse position than mere hatred. Lol:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:. It's been tougher than what it is now, so don't you worry too much:A.

I know - bloody on my mind all the time:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:. Look, you know I speak my mind (as long as allowed to do so!). Indeed, "better out than in" although in a different sense not this one now.
