got a huge banana umbrella as well the only problem is its lime green! DH thinks its a lovely colour the only reason I agreed was because I thought it would show the moths up........I hate moths!! Thanks for all your advice I ordered my starter kit too so just waiting for the delivery now which should be today. I would have liked it much more if it had been £137 but hey ho!!
  • Good morning all, guess what, it's raining :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

The annoying thing is it is supposed to be dry this morning.

Our nice newly repaired garage sprung a leak yesterday, looks like the soil that is behind the block actually got so wet there was nowhere else for the water to go. Nothing to do with the rebuild, hopefully it will dry up and that will be a one off, the amount of water around yesterday was slightly ridiculous!

    Good evening all :)

Apple trees are better of in pairs when you have more than one tree apparently you will get bigger yields

Our neighbour has one nearby so it's not that, we had a good yield last year anyway. It is an old fashioned Laxtons so just needs a good pruning.

It`s nice to be important, but its more important to be nice.

I dont know if it would change for you being on a different ship, but dont think a cruise ship is anything like a ferry, they are worlds apart. Some are just so huge, you quite often forget you are on a ship.

    Morning all.

Interesting but think I'll just stick to dry land, thanks :)

LS hope you had a good nights sleep and everything has stayed were it should be :(

Thank you. Just about to get out of bed but seems dry underneath me so fingers crossed. How are you feeling?

Vt and N, I hope you have an amazing cruise. I can't wait to see the pics and hear all about it!

Today I am going to phone the stoma nurse and beg her to come and do my bag changes. I can't deal with all these leaks after they're changed by district nurses, and it can't be a very efficient use of resources if I'm having to do a callout after every change. It is the most frustrsting thing ever.

Spoke too soon earlier. After watching bake off discovered bag has been leaking. Yet another call out.

Lying here for 5 more minutes to let the stoma adhesive paste set then going to bed. Please keep your fingers crossed for me overnight.:o

Or you are not having much luck with this so far hope you had a

comfortable night ...This is why people should be kept in

hospital tp be nursed until they are ready to go home

All these cut backs are no good for our health r for the people

who work in the hospital season

My opinion is all money made by the lottery should go to the

NHS to put our health system the best in the world as it use to

  • Good thanks but this is my good week out of the three.
Yes I would insist that they change it, not because of the district nurses but just for your sake, you are going through enough without the added stress of leakages all the time. Be firm!! Sometimes it's the only way to get heard.
