The only thing I have had trouble with is my apple tree, it is a potted one and only had 4 apples, I think because I didn't have chance to prune it.

We got twice as many redcurrants as we needed to make wine so have about 3lbs in the freezer, about 6 lbs of raspberries in the freezer with more to come, managed loads of strawberry jam and have several bunches of grapes on the vine. Also got about 400 g of blueberries this year. As for rhubarb, we have had pounds upon pounds of the stuff

Can you tell I like growing fruit :D

    Good evening all :)

Apple trees are better of in pairs when you have more than one tree apparently you will get bigger yields

Spoke too soon earlier. After watching bake off discovered bag has been leaking. Yet another call out.

Lying here for 5 more minutes to let the stoma adhesive paste set then going to bed. Please keep your fingers crossed for me overnight.:o

Well I am now officially desperate for red wine. I think I am actually going to have to buy some at almost full price soon!

Would this tide you over DM, it's free delivery on Ts at the moment, ignore where you pick delivery and it still says free delivery over £50 as once you go to pay it shows as free well it did for next day delivery. £18 for 6 bottles.

    Good morning all.:D
Busy day today. Loads still to do before our trip, and last day to do it before we leave tomorrow evening, as I'm at work all day tomorrow.:(
VT visiting this afternoon to help choose cruise clothes. I tend to pack far too much :o and she is on a paring down mission.
Thank you for the kind thoughts on my post last night. I'm feeling better today. I've just caught up, and had a chuckle at dm calling us the commando ladies, :rotfl:
Fc, hope you enjoy your holiday, and the same to anyone else I've missed.
    See you later.

I did manage to reduced the shoes slightly but that was it.
I love the day before travel and the last minute purchases. My melons playsuit for by the pools was a bargain unlike the 2 pairs of earring and a ring I bought.
Big case only half full but heavy enough. Could par down further but if I can take it all the why not. Just a same I do not have a clean pair of pants for every outfit so might have to take DMs advice:D

This type of ship is very different and much bigger than the ones I am use to so a bit in the dark on how much bling I will need. We might call this one our trial run:rotfl:
Unrelenting rain again today but appears to have stopped. Hope you have all been glitching.
Thank you to an:A who posted me an innocent coconut water MOC.

Where do you stay when you go the night before ? We've never done a proper cruise before, only river cruises, but some of the offers look good. Any tips as to good companies to look at would be much appreciated - we don't want anything too fancy, just smart casual stuff preferably on a small/medium size ship and a drinks package.

Sounds like you would like the Fred Olsen ships or maybe even the saga ones.
Fred Olsen has a nice match of customers onboard with some nice black tie events and good entertainment without being ott. The also do quite a few child free cruises which are nice. Also people knock saga but enough going on unless you like drinking in the bar after midnight. Good room service though.

We are going on a very large ship this time. We had hoped to make use of a deal on the Queen Victoria but was impossible to find the right flights.
