    Not sure if you are old enough to remember... but years ago on Emmerdale, Eric Polard 'bought' a Thai bride. On the first day of her being in England, he went to work and returned to a wonderful cooked meal which she had gathered/obtained/killed... including a duck from the village pond.

    Although I was a vegetarian for over 30 years, I thought it was hilarious!
