My brother in law has left to live in Dubai this weekend, and we are planning a trip over Christmas to visit.
I've been looking to see if there is a forum to see if there's any MSE tips but can't find a sausage.... Can anyone give any advice, or point me in the right direction. Many thanks.

Whereabouts is your brother living/working as Dubai is huge?

Forgot about spangles notice the size difference compared to today's bars my son had a boost today and he said have you seen the size on this:eek: my thumb was bigger

I wont buy cadbury or mars chocolate bars unless paid to do so they are taking the piff at £1.00

And they don't taste the same since the buyout by the US giants.

Tweets the kitchen looks great :)

Back from the vets with the dog she is on antibiotics’ and some other medication in a large syringe and a diet of chicken pasta and scrambled egg

Everything seems to be ok the strange thing is it’s almost a year to the date that she was taken ill with hemorrhagic gastroenteritis only this time the symptoms were not so severe.

The vet did not know the cause the same as last time. I’m wondering if it’s a caterpillar that has been decimating my pine trees for the last three years as when these !!!!!!s are around it’s the same time as the dog has been ill they leave balls of bright green caterpillar cr&p around the trees that could easily be inhaled or ingested by a dog

Last year I had a right go at killing them all as the trees were covered. By removing the affected stems and burning or dropping the stems in water. This year I only had two bunches on the one tree I killed them once I spotted the bright green cr&p as they are very hard to spot they are not butterfly's they are some ugly looking fly like insect

When I did some research online there were reports of them being dangerous to dogs it’s a shame I only had the thought after I left the vets :o

She has to go back next week so I will ask the vet here opinion then.

My wallet took a bit of a battering but I don’t care to be honest as I’m much Happier and relived she is going to be OK.:D

And if you want pets I think they should receive treatment when needed just like we do :)

This happens in Spain a caterpillar on pine tree's and you had to burn them all as they are very very toxic to dogs I cant remember what you called the condition but google pine trees caterpillar dog ...may bring condition up ..In Spain the pine are avoided at a certain time of the year ...

Glad your dog is a bit better
