  • Ladyshopper, glad you got seen to quickly, hopefully this is the start of things improving for you :)

Well, back from the garden party. Somehow he managed to arrange the weather again, the rain that was due at lunchtime actually arrived early and it was a nice dry afternoon :D Have to admit I don't think I will be able to eat again for a little while :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

So back to this afternoon I am in the queue behind a young mother in a wheelchair with two boys so lots of chit chat going back wards and forwards and then it is my turn to be served and the total comes to minus £2-96 and I am gob smacked he called a team leader over to allow the receipt to come out the till ...apparently this has happened many times before the sa tells me ...am not convinced ...and say shall we start again and I will empty the bags ...No wouldn't hear of it ...me I am thinking this has got to be wrong and I don't want to be shop lifting ..they already contribute enough to my shopping ...so I say do you want to get a supervise over and check this he says no it happens all the time now take your shopping and have a nice day ......so I did ....... got home and he had put my sanex voucher for 50p in at £5 hence the minus balance and nothing to pay .....

Your room looks lovely Emma. I enlarged the photo so I could check the titles of all your books :D

This afternoon we put up a curtain pole. All that was required was for six holes to be drilled, rawl plugs put in the holes and the pole then to be screwed to the wall. How can such a simple task take two adults the best part of two hours and make both parties feel like committing murder  :rotfl:

It’s a good thing for me to be honest as I would have bought some even though I have around 20 toblerone in the stash as I am a glitch addict :o

I don’t have room to stash anymore stuff but I know I still would have bought some I should be in shopper’s rehab :rotfl::rotfl:

I nearly went for the bacon even though i have around ten to fifteen packs in the freezer where the hell i thought i was going to put them i don't know as i would be lucky to get a fish finger in the freezers but i still had the itch

The only thing I am going to buy is washing up liquid and washing powder as my stash of that is low well that’s the plan lets see how long I resist temptation :rotfl:

Quite rightly, Shoreham-By-Sea is a very somber place today.

I'm not long back from laying flowers and paying my respects.

I'm so thankful that all my family members are safe and my heart goes out to those with family members still unaccounted for.

No words can express how I feel about the tragic loss of lives.

My thoughts are with all the victims and families affected by yesterday's tragedy.

Praise also to our local emergency services and hospitals for all their hard work. :A:A:A

    A beautiful post wacky:A

When I heard the news yesterday I wanted to hug DD and DS. I knew they were nowhere near the accident but they weren't with me.:o I couldn't get my head around the absolute and sudden randomness of the accident....one minute it's a normal day, the sun is shining and you have plans, things to do......and within a split second life looks different for hundreds of people....family and friends, those coping with terrible injuries.....heartbreaking:o
