Nice one:beer::beer: but I don't drink spirits
But my sister gives me a case off bud or San Miguel whenever I give her the toothbrush info :cool: I don't do it as it always messes up for me :eek:0 -

I caught an earwig earlier keep thinking since been unwell that I am seeing things out corner of my eye but this time was real so caught it in a glass and put bit of paper over top to let it out on next loo trip/secret spy session. Bloomin thing has got out and nowhere to be found. :eek:
Just shone a torch in the corners near the table where I left it will be worried now. Would rather have coffee grounds escaping in the van than earwigs crawling over me
Going now , I am cos you have have painted too vivid a mural of carry on camping....and may have a nitemare, what with the spiders and nits and earwigs, not to mention the dreamcatcher..:rotfl:....gonna be a long nite.

I just think an improvement in communication between different departments and more open approach to patients would be beneficial all round
If they all had the same computer system would help especially when speaking from experience its crazy at times.0 -

I found by test 3 I was being met by routine lines 'it's just routine. we don't know we just carry out the tests. you will have to wait until you see a consultant'
I have a very very dear friend who I've known for a very long time. She could be put in the class of not being the brightest but she doesn't need to be because she was born beautiful inside and out. I was talking to her last week about all these tests.
I forget that she doesn't get my humour and sarcasm at timesand I said to her 'they came in and said to me we just need to take a sample of your leg from the knee down, don't worry....it's routine'
:rotfl::rotfl:
She said to me ' Oh my god, is your leg okay' :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Bless herI shouldn't because I then have to explain I was joking and she gets it. Very much like the blonde lady in the Vicar of Dibley
As I said, beautiful inside and out :A and probably why she has a villa in Portugal and I don't :rotfl::rotfl:0 -

You are welcome - note the discount only works on single night bookings and from experience is per booking not per account - I get round this for extended stays by booking multiple nights each with the discount applied - a quick trip to reception after breakfast to check out/in and replace the key card works every time(I don't ask to check out, just say I have another booking and ask if it is possible to stay in the same room - has worked so far). The discount has paid for the parking

Thanks bubbs I wish I could say yes but it's been real struggle today spent most of it asleep. Took DD3 out for tea as I could not be bothered to cook or clear up. I did enjoy chat with neighbours early evening but been half laying down again since.0 -
fairclaire wrote: »Oh yes the pee clinc
I really hope it doesn't offend any other pee clinic users. I'm only out on license you know
I had to go to the pee clinic with 2 samples. A 24 hour sample, which I was given an amply suitable container for in advance :eek:, the letter I got with my appointment said I also need just a normal sample in a clean dry container (I know! how can it be dry if it's got pee in it?:huh: )
Well I got myself in a totally obsessed state looking for a suitable container. Maybe I just needed a distraction?
I spent most of whole day on this! :eek: I went through all my cupboards. Too big, too small, too untrustworthy a lid, too nice to pee in, belonged to my grandmother, do I get my container back?, do I want my container back??,.......
When that search became fruitless and didn't turn up a suitable (in my head) container I turned to my food cupboardsto see if anything could be emptied out and used :rotfl:
but I just couldn't :rotfl::rotfl:
It was a couple of hours before my appointment and I'd been holding my wee in all this time :eek: I'd almost decided to just give up and use one of the personalised coke bottles :eek::rotfl: and I had a lightbulb moment
:D I remembered those stupid little plastic bottles we used as triggers for mini deodorants :T:T PERFECT :T:T yes I had to go and search with them cross legged but they saved the day! See....triggers aren't useless! :rotfl::rotfl:
I got to the pee clinic with my 2 samples in a bag. I felt very conspicuous. I felt better when I got there though as everyone else......despite being at least 30 years older than me.....had bags too :rotfl:things were running late so I passed the time playing guess what container they used for their pee :rotfl::rotfl:
I wasn't prepared for a hartleys jam jar and a 1/4 bottle of grouse whisky as containers though :eek::eek: not to mention a 7up bottle!! :eek: and a thankfulness that the man with the grouse bottle didn't have dementia and leave it on a bus next to a person who liked a drink :eek:
What a load of pish.0
