No I am at a very respectable site except for a man called David who walks around with his shirt off most weathers, I think I mentioned him last year. Not seen sight of little scamps this year though. And I don't think the lady next door has brought her cat this year either.

I hope I am building a decent picture......

  • Just to say that I saw 'Vaseline Queen Bee Lip Therapy' in my local Poundland today. A tad annoying as I literally just bought one of these for £3.99 in Boots yesterday (expensive I know, but I have heard such rave reviews about it!). I have been applying it on the hour all evening to speed-test see and see if it lives up to the hype........if so I shall be hot-footing it back to Poundland in the morning.

Other than DS1, they don't know Nerfy. I thought that best until I can tell them definitively what's what. That's how half of them tick...they don't cope with maybes and what ifs very well. They like cold hard facts and given what they've suffered already this year I made the decision to not give them anything to deal with until we know what that is.

In Scotland they use this when giving a wee sample

I caught an earwig earlier keep thinking since been unwell that I am seeing things out corner of my eye but this time was real so caught it in a glass and put bit of paper over top to let it out on next loo trip/secret spy session. Bloomin thing has got out and nowhere to be found.

Just shone a torch in the corners near the table where I left it will be worried now. Would rather have coffee grounds escaping in the van than earwigs crawling over me :o

I certainly can't complain about the speed of the NHS. I've packed a lot into the last 3 weeks and I'm grateful for it.
I just think an improvement in communication between different departments and more open approach to patients would be beneficial all round
