Another one waiting for a man today here - TV aerial man for me. He's not due until this afternoon though.
Although a sad occasion, yesterday's funeral was one of the loveliest I have ever been to. It was a humanist celebration, quite low key and somehow very gentle. My cousin's daughter, aged 21, paid an incredibly moving, mature and thoughtful tribute to her dad, spoken in a strong and confident voice without a single waver. I don't know how she did it :A The service closed with a short period of quiet reflection, followed by Elvis singing An American Trilogy.
It was the same crematorium as my mum's funeral was held at, so got there early and also went to arrange her entry into the book of remembrance, which was the last thing outstanding to do for her, so also feel I've moved on a little now.

Good morning thankyou for asking Leslie ....I cannot believe how much better it is and have not had to take any Ibrufen since visiting the Podiatrist:The certainly got the diagnosis correct and the shoe insert was obviously what was needed :Tso £75 well spent

Just dropped my DD at school for her very first day. Bless her she looked so grown up in her uniform. Don't know where the time has gone. She was a little bit unsure but I'm hoping she'll be ok.
