You can see the buyers details from the email saying you'd sold the item. Are they abroad? I had someone from Denmark buy when I only posted to the UK. They couldn't pay as ebay wouldn't offer postage to their address. (and the silly person didn't even contact me either)

No, they're in the UK and have good feedback. I think it's my confusion that I thought you had to pay straight away. Could be someone who is waiting until payday. I'm just keen to get them shipped off because I'm going away next week.

Just been to see the Sainsburys Tu sale - usual thing with nothing I really want in my size, having to get things I really like outside of the sale now, the last 3 dresses were the same

but I was looking at the underwear section and found Gossard bras reduced from £17 and £16 down to £1 and matching undies from £14 down to £1 - found 3 bras, two different styles and 2 undies - OK pink floral and a bit OTT but who cares for £1 :T- also another 25% taken off for the sale so actually 75p each :D

and a turquoise baby doll for £1 - hoping eldest child will like this as its too cute to take back - sadly I don't think my chest would get into it

Hi stranger. The thread is nearly two weeks old and not even a third of the way through yet?!? I think it seems like people have a lot else going on in their lives these days:cool:. There are a lot of changes in M. A lot. Which is no surprise given that I haven't been there for a short time. It will take absolutely ages to update it all (I'm exaggerating), and it will be done (possibly into overnight as I burn more money and have more money than sense:rotfl:). So, no need to waste time going to M to find out what the prices are (where they are not on msm). The expired items will just completely disappear as if they had never been there in the first place, as I can't tell exactly when they expired, and new items will start appearing in bold.

I was almost going to say that I had been defeated, as I found quite a few £1 baby items (surely we should wait to see if they go lower than that?) and almost too many to note. But note them all I have, so they haven't caught me yet:D.

I won't try to summarise any changes as there are just too many to note, but I did take a sharp intake of breath when I saw the 360g Bean Sprouts have gone to 54p:eek:. And, double intake:D, so too has the Diced Carrots & Swede, whilst the Mediterranean Veg. in the same section (was known to compare from the Herby Tomato Vegetables) has had a 'sneaky' price increase from 99p to £1. As if they think I don't notice:D:cool::rotfl:

I can't keep posting, I'll go silent now (in that regard) whilst I get round to updating the list.

I'm struggling to decide which travel insurance my son needs for China and would be grateful if any one can help. He is going for a year to work in a university for most of the time but will be travelling/backpacking for a month or so during that time. Does he get annual/backpackers/single trip? Would it be better to get backpackers when he is there just for the month he will be travelling and annual/single trip now? So confusing. He has booked his flight for Sunday...hope visa arrives tomorrow! He is already a week late leaving as China didn't send all the documents he needed for his visa! He's missed a week of training.
    Thank you:)

the travel insurance thing is so difficult. my youngest is covered by work while he is working but not while he is taking a few week off so in the end I went with Insure and go Backpacker Light 1 - I covered him for 7 months as originally he was going to be in HK in January, the dates meantime changed twice so now he is back on boxing day so that would have saved me £10 - back packers insurance is very very expensive.

Mind also didn't get his visa through until a few days before hand - it came via DHL express.

have you had to pay for the flights yourself?

    Evening

Ebay......I haven't listed anything on there for so long and I'm confused :o I listed something with a buy it now price. It's sold but the buyer hasn't paid. I didn't think you could do this? And why would anyone buy it now and not pay? I sent an invoice yesterday but they still haven't paid. What do I have to do now? TIA

Also, those still looking for holiday stuff......the As I was in today had loads of swimwear heavily reduced. Bikini bottoms 50p/£1 and tops £1/£2. All different styles. Managed to pick up a couple of bits for myself and loads for DD

    hi fc

there is a small box under your email payment address
that says Require immediate payment when buyer uses Buy it now

FC if you want immediate payment you have to set it at that, and it does not come off for sale until paid , so if someone else came along and paid straight away 1st buyer would loose purchase hth
