Sadly Sophie is illiterate and I am not writing her letters for her
Its bad enough that I have to share the tinest yogurt on the planet with a cat but I also have to split the empty pot open for her as her tongue is too short“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Saw this posted on HUKD, tested it for myself today...
The £1 o2 lunch deal in Boots can include a big box of tictacs worth 2 reward points :money:
30p off meal deal mocs are valid on this deal so you could pay just 70p
Choose 500ml Irn Bru as your drink (why would you choose anything else!?) and get 50p back from COS as well (plus 5p for the receipt)
15p all in for sandwich, juice, 100 tictacs and half a cinema ticket :money:
ETA: and 4 advantage points
And I thought I'd done well getting a mars bar and tic tacs in my Sains local today and finding 5p on the floor on the way out:rotfl:To do is to be. Rousseau

You better get shopping ad quick.
I daren't go shopping! All last weeks hoards of school stuff is still lying here in the bags it came inEverything needs name labelling and DS2 clothes need Velcro-ing. I've just been ignoring it, and making the pile of carrier bags look tidy when I walk past :rotfl:
I did order some stuff this afternoon whilst I was sat outside enjoying the sun and ignoring the dis-array indoors. I don't want to go overboard. We're only going for 5 days......I'm trying to be sensible0 -
Good afternoon just wondered if anyone has any dealings will AO.com as my washing machine has after 18months of being cajoled and nursed has finally given up the ghost you guessed full of washing:eek:and was thinking of getting one off the said above site.Good job the weather is good as was full of towels so been stood at the sink just like the olden days;)trying to wring as much water out as possible how I wish I had a mangle:rotfl::rotfl:hope everyone is enjoying this beautiful sunshine.
Hello Nanny,
only just catching up as ive had no internet since first thing this morning
Your question has probably already been answered- AO were really good for delivery and also price is very competitive, they use to do free delivery but I don't know if that still applies, and they also delivered on a sunday. If you use them don't forget quidco:)0 -
What I can't figure out is that fox cubs have a 50% fatality rate in their first year if life - usually on roads.
This is what they said on springwatch - assume they must have got figures from an official sourse
If this is the case fox numbers should stay fairly stable - some older ones dying and some younger ones surviving the first year.“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
Wish I had remembered about meal deal while down for my c&c.
You can tell I'm new to all of this.
Trying to get used to being redundant and therefore a full time Mam. And trying to get my head round any and every possible way of saving money to make up for the fact that I can no longer earn anything. I've always worked so I'm finding it a bit hard to adjust.
Though don't get me wrong...I love being with my boy and my main priority is to entertain and look after him.
Also trying to get my head round whether to buy what is cheapest or on offer at the shop I am actually in or whether I'm better off buying when I know cheaper elsewhere....going to T in an hour and I started a list to compare against A but seeing as I can hardly ever get to a T I'm probably better off buying what's on offer there really I guess.
And of course I am trying to still provide a healthy diet and sadly most of the offers and cashback are for naughty foods.
We always ate clean before I was made redundant but it works out a lot more costly. ..
On the way into work this morning there was a feature on how our shopping habits have changed over the years and how the days are gone where people used to do one main supermarket shop a week. Research shows that people are shopping at a variety of supermarkets and discount stores ........tell me something I don't know:rotfl:
There was a spokesman from waitrose talking.....he came over well.
I'll see if I can find it.....To do is to be. Rousseau
