Called in at Sada tonight, spotted a promising but very wet and screwed-up receipt, so picked it up anyway; managed to unfurl it. So, how to dry it out? Plan A, stand in doorway right under air blowers with receipt in my hands ... not very successful, and was getting some funny looks; Plan B, hand dryers in toilets ... too successful, blast tore it right at the bottom where number is:eek: Plan C, wrap it in toilet paper and bring it home. Which is where it is now, drying out on the table. Hope it's worth it:D
The shoppers must have been keen on healthy eating: sausage, pies, fish fingers, curry, bacon, mini kebabs, xpress curry, pizza, more bacon, biscuits x3 ...oh, and Brillo Pads:)
ADVENTURES IN WET WOMBLING PART 2
I spotted a wet receipt in a distant trolley bay. It was chucking it down. Scooped it out and put it in my pocket but an Asda Ace was approaching. I then realised I'd put my trolley token in and I was unable to get it out as my hands were wet. Having managed to avoid this man for months I then had to ask him for help to get my token out:o
Got back to the car and lay the wet receipt over my laptop case on the floor, put the car heater on and headed off. Got back home to find a milky white stain down my case which had ran onto the car mat. It was worth 2p when I checked it:oTo do is to be. Rousseau

Dippy thanks for that. District nurse doesn't seem to have much of a clue regarding continence products and what I can have. Might speak to Dr on Monday when she comes round, in fact I'd better start a list so I don't forget!
Kids have made my bed, hopefully no tubes coming unattached tonight. Going to have to look for air fresheners and stuff on my next online shop, between pee smells and the bad wind I seem to have today my room smells worse than a teenagers!:rotfl:0 -
Browsing through magazines today I spotted an offer in Olive for a Sunday night break at a Hotel du Vin. You check in on Sunday and as long as you spent £109 in the restaurant for dinner you got your room free on Sunday night. I noticed it because I've always fancied the one in Harrogate. You need to quote the code in the mag when you book and cut out the coupon to present when you check in. Might be worth checking out if someone is interested.
Also OK magazine has a coupon for a free bottle of Schloer but mag is £2. Might have to pop into a couple of Hairdressing salons and pretend to be waiting for an appointment:rotfl:To do is to be. Rousseau
