Mentioned my stitches were sore. Then got a phone call from Dr who has decided to prescribe me antibiotics just in case, as stitches quite red, plus wanted to book an appointment to do a home visit next week, so have booked for Monday. Am very impressed that they've done that.
District nurse had arranged a prescription for something else, but turns out surgery had sent it on to company dealing with all my drainage bags. No idea why! So, got Dr to re- prescribe that whilst on phone. My friend is going to pick it up, will have to give her my card to pay. Exemption form gone off today, but have to pay til I recieve it back, then can reclaim what I've paid today.
It's things like this that I find tricky. When you don't have a partner, you have to ask other people to do stuff like this and whilst I'm sure they don't mind, I hate asking.
Rhos, it's nice to see you back on here, sounds like it's been an "interesting" time for you!
Hi Ladys..
Before my exemption certificate came through I was told, by the hospital, just tick the box to say you have one and you don't have to pay.
My 'bags' were for the other stuff(!) but found the company to be amazingly good.
Hope all goes well

I've just about emptied the two drawers in the freezer bit of the fridge-freezer, so, the question is, do I or don't I?:D They weren't the tastiest pizzas in the world, as I remember...
Waiting for them to be £1.50 or less. Whilst searching on msm I noticed they have a new bolognaise flavour. The picture looks vile but would be nice to get a different variation to what we had before. :-)
Good evening everyone.Pan drawers in 2016 £1500 needed.0 -

Just remembered A have their own make Dippy Chips (?) reduced from £1 to 40p in the freezer section. They are ridged for dipping......I don't get it but they are reduced anyway. Looked a large bag:)To do is to be. Rousseau

Day of rest then the monthly gp visit. Receptionists with God syndrome. Ok I missed b12 appointment last week as was worked out on a 12 week rota and gp this quarter has been a 13 week rota due to her daring to have a holiday:rotfl: I definitely did not miss mays appointment otherwise how in the hell did I book last weeks. 2 minute bloody job as well. Receptionist was very rude just glaring over her glasses at me in silence. Gp walked past and told her nurse was free and to send me straight in.
I wouldn't have minded as obviously I missed appointment last week but she was adamant I had missed appointment in may and wasn't going to give me another one.
I was so p**sed of was thinking of getting mhoc to write a letter of complaint.:rotfl:

Called in at Sada tonight, spotted a promising but very wet and screwed-up receipt, so picked it up anyway; managed to unfurl it. So, how to dry it out? Plan A, stand in doorway right under air blowers with receipt in my hands ... not very successful, and was getting some funny looks; Plan B, hand dryers in toilets ... too successful, blast tore it right at the bottom where number is:eek: Plan C, wrap it in toilet paper and bring it home. Which is where it is now, drying out on the table. Hope it's worth it:D
The shoppers must have been keen on healthy eating: sausage, pies, fish fingers, curry, bacon, mini kebabs, xpress curry, pizza, more bacon, biscuits x3 ...oh, and Brillo Pads:)'It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.'

Having lived the Eddie and Patsy era I love the picture Snap. Might have to be my next project. Is there one of Eddie too?

Thank you. I phoned chemist, they said it was better to pay then claim back, so that's what I've done. No chemists locally had adhesive remover spray though, so got to wait til Monday and hope it doesn't run out. Stops dressing removal being quite so painful.
Dippy thanks for that. District nurse doesn't seem to have much of a clue regarding continence products and what I can have. Might speak to Dr on Monday when she comes round, in fact I'd better start a list so I don't forget!
Kids have made my bed, hopefully no tubes coming unattached tonight. Going to have to look for air fresheners and stuff on my next online shop, between pee smells and the bad wind I seem to have today my room smells worse than a teenagers!:rotfl:0 -

Have two of these in the freezer but not had the nerve to try them yet, then ended up getting two packs of McCains from Iceland for the pans, and have to admit I do prefer McCains normallyWhat is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0
