    Good evening everyone:hello:
Not been able to get on much lately due to RL being busy, busy, busy but have been trying to keep up. Have also been away again to Essex to celebrate DD2's birthday as she doesn't finish uni until next week:eek:
I see that quite a few people have been having a tough time lately with illness, operations and bereavements so sending best wishes and dodgy hugs to everyone :grouphug:
Also sending belated birthday wishes to all those I have missed and good luck to anyone with offspring expecting A level or GCSE results:) Oh and thanks to M4RTIN for the new thread:)

    Hi Dee Dee

my store did not have any of the Imperial Leather Invigorating but for those who's store do stock this do you think it will work if you bought
    1x Imperial Leather 500ml
    2x lynx XL shower gel

would give a good return if it works AvT

    This has not been tested
  • Glad it went well. Hope you don't feel too grotty for the next few days.

No change here, although I've felt slightly less tired which is a good thing. I think I would have slept better last night except for neighbours across the road had a party! No music, just lots of comings and goings and as I had the window open could hear it all. Fingers crossed for tonight!

Just wanted to wish anyone luck that has kids/relatives etc getting A level results tomorrow. Stressful time. :o

You will have to come on here in the night if you can't sleep. We can keep each other company! I did last time and it was just as everyone went AWOL there was me and I think DM! If I can't sleep tonight I'm going in the garden on meteor shower watch:D

Apologies if it's already been mentioned but Morrisons have boneless pork leg joints on offer at £2.00 per kg from £3.49 per kilo. Picked one up yesterday, haven't tried it yet but it looks nice & lean.

It's very humid and very still here tonight.

I am!! I decided to get in bed and that way it stops you from doing anything. So a nice catch up for me. I started before but then got a visitor mid message which was then lost and now I can't remember who it was! So apologies if I've missed thanking anyone's kind words. I just have no memory at the moment I have to write every last thing down. :o
  • Hi,

Thanks for asking. I'm recovering from the operation and my energy levels are still on the low side.

Some of the stitching came undone when I was poorly just after the operation. That needs rebandaging every day from the district nurses who are brilliant I must say.

The surgeon said he has removed the tumour and hopefully I'm OK but he wants me to go through chemotherapy as a precautionary measure.

Thanks again for asking... Even though I don't post much on here I always follow the thread and feel like all you guys in here are like my cyber family.

    Sorry for rambling on

I wish I had wise words like others on here have. All I can say is we have to trust them, I did have a little wobble when I went for my surgery there was a man showing a patient down the corridor and it became apparent that he didn't know his right from his left. I commented on this to DH who said he was a registrar! I hoped he wouldn't be in my theatre but yep you guessed it as I turned the corner with the nurse guess who was all gowned up from head to toe:eek: anyway all was good thank goodness haha.
Needs must and if it's a small era in our lives that saves us its well worth it, I mean look how far we go to get a glitch!!
Good luck with your treatment x

Noticed on A site a Sanex advanced hydrate 24hr Bath cream that I have not seen before in the 3 for £5 offer could be used with simple trigger if it is still working
    Sanex A £4.00 v S £2.00

The Sanex advanced dermo repair bath cream has no comparison I picked this one up by mistake:mad:
