  • DS3 has declared that he wants an Apple laptop for his 21st birthday which is at the end of Sept.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated

(he is set on the apple... I know over priced, etc)

At 21, I would give him money towards a laptop if he wants to put extra towards it to get the Apple he wants so be it.

Just a general thought...is 21 still considered a "big birthday"....
I remember it was for me...probably more so than my 18th...

Ds1 is 18 next birthday and is'nt at all fussed by it....partly I think because he's probably had the car this year but at the moment he's no plans to really celebrate it.

You can buy digital copies of deeds etc here http://www.landregistry-titledeeds.co.uk/?gclid=CL-w3LT3oscCFdTLtAodhNAJNw, though, as others have said how interested the landlords will be is another thing.

We have renters next to us, they are lovely people, the landlord is also very nice and we have his phone number and email etc, and he would be willing to intervene if they ever caused real trouble (which they won't), maybe your neighbour's landlord will be concerned that they could be causing damage?

    :) Thanks Everyone for replies

I think it is a case of Landlord couldn't care less as the house is an eyesore. Still got original 70s windows, peeling paint, no upstairs heating etc.
Before the Savages it was their Mother renting it (the one who abandoned the cats) & before the Mother it was a Savage sister

She's still screaming this morning at Mr Savage who is at least 10 yrs younger (just a kid)
She is verbally abusing the nice timid neighbours :(

But a bit of a break through as we have discovered nice neighbour's son is friends with Landlord's son..... :)

    Karma think karma -

I've never seen her smile - she is constantly angry

Just noticed that Slippytiles has gone all raspberry coloured:)

I haven't been giving this app the attention it deserves. Up until our holidays I was making nearly £5 a week which paid for some nice meals out while we were away:T
    Then I got all lazy:o

I'm back on to it from this week and my target is again £5 a week. £250 a year:T that will be great for our jollies next year.

I intend to recycle wombles, input wombles, eat and drink food I've never tried before:rotfl: and generally be more proactive

There's money to be had folks:T

I feel invigorated....or maybe that was that bloomin mint shower gel I used this morning:rotfl:

    What is slippytiles please??

Years ago my uncle died the 1st week into around the world cruise they had saved years for. He had to go into cold storage until they docked somewhere that could bring him own. Apparently they have cold storage on the large cruise ships specifically for this!

As far as i know yes

When i was 21 that was a long time ago it was considered more significant than a person’s 18th

My son was 21 last year and we had a big family get together.

    Good morning Elite :hello::hello:

Raining here, rained overnight too. The garden looks refreshed but I've cancelled my plan of going out for the day. Never mind, always tomorrow.

(((hugs))) to those in need, there are a lot of Elite who need them lately x

tweets, I can't wait to see your kitchen in all its splendour. I bet you are on tender hooks just waiting for the final day :j

Off for a coffee and catchup, see you later x
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.

I think any excuse for a party and a dancing opportunity is a good thing. 18, 21 or 42!
