Bringing money from abroad

I always found XE to be very reliable, but these days their rates seem worse than other options. They seem to have facilities to transfer in and out of most countries, so I was suggesting a check whether Brazil is one of them. Archi Bald is right that you can't see their rates without signing up, which is not a very simple process.XE has a little bit better rates, but the reviews online are much worst... Would not risk that amount money in the wrong hands.
Does anyone knows if taxes incur on money from abroad? I am currently a Tier 2 Visa holder and as far as I know taxes won't incur if you are "domiciled", but I am not sure what domiciled means...
In general you are domiciled in a country if you have a residence there, a residence visa if required, pay tax, are registered to vote, hold a driving licence, etc, or enough of those things to be convincing. That's regardless of your nationality - and you may not actually live there most of the time. So if you can demonstrate that your country of domicile is Brazil and not UK you should not be liable for UK taxation.Evolution, not revolution0
