    The List Continues:

*Got an email from Nectar offering us 200 bonus points if we swipe our Nectar card six times plus 10 points for each visit. You have to click on the link to activate the offer. Plus 50 free points for completing a Homebase survey. (Link)

*OH and I walked between four different supermarkets to get the best prices on the few items we needed.

Just to clarify the Nectar Points offer I mentioned earlier as I wan't very clear. ;)

    There are two offers:

One is to click on this Link and go and do a quick survey on the Homebase website. When you do this it asks for your Nectar card number and you are rewarded with 50 Nectar Points.

The other offer is to click on this Link to go directly into your Nectar account online. Once on this page you sign in and you see Your Latest Bonus Points offers. You then click to Activate the "200 bonus points offer" which you should see.

Having done this you shop at Sainsbury's six times between now and 1st October. Each time you shop hand over your Nectar card as you would normally to get Nectar Points. You will automatically be rewarded with 200 points when you have made 6 visits. You will also get 10 bonus points for each of the 6 visits you make.

    :T

    Thanks Ally!

    Evening all :)
Not much achieved today as I have been trying to entertain a tired and bored 12 yo for most of the day :(

She has gone home now though.

Ally, I hope things soon turn a corner for you and your OH

Maria, do take care :( Your health is much more important than hosting stressful events. Can you not just cancel it? I agree with Foxgloves, DNMS and Bob re your rude DiL (as with many things :)) but appreciate that you are probably feeling pretty sensitive due to your health worries :(

Bob, well done on the extra debt busting :)

    Enjoy your trip DNMS :)

So, what HAVE I done today?

    Mainly stuck to diet

Small shopping list and stuck to it :)

Made a loaf in the BM and froze half so it doesn't go off before it is all eaten

Washed bedding and towels from spare bedroom

HM meals, made some mini sort-of pizzas for lunch, with some left over bread rolls, some left over HM tomato sauce, a reduced low fat mozarella ball and a few olives. I halved the rolls, added topping and put in the oven to warm through and melt the mozarella. They looked very posh on a pretty plate scattered with some leaves from the kitchen windowsill basil plant :D

Did marinated swordfish steaks for supper - Ocado had some on offer a couple of weeks ago, and as we hadn't tried it, I bought a pack and put it in the freezer. I had to google for a recipe, but it was delicious :) The marinade just consisted of things I generally have in, such as lemon juice, olive oil, garlic etc. We had simply cooked vegetables from the garden with it. I will definitely buy it if it is on offer again :D

    Picked the French beans

Done a load of very boring onepoll surveys, and one for Yougov

Still need to water any dry pots in the garden, and clear up after baby GD who also visited this morning with her mum. She is saying quite a lot now, and is very funny. Her favourite expression is 'stuck', if she can't climb up onto something, or if she is strapped into her car seat or pushchair and doesn't want to be there, or if a toy rolls under a piece of furniture - basically anything that doesn't fit with what she wants at that exact moment :rotfl:

Well folks, this isn't clearing up sand from the hall carpet, or watering the plants, so I had better get on. Hope you all enjoy the rest of the day. The weather has been absolutely gorgeous here today :)
