I posted a message about my computer suddenly going very slow and you asked me to get some info. I am sorry not to have come straight back to you but have been going to and fro to hospital. Info below:

You mean svchost.exe? That's a Windows file and OK. If it's running at 100%, there's an issue with Microsoft Update that was fixed a while back.
