My currents rears are now on 48,000 and still have 4mm left.
They are Michelin Synchrones, slightly harder ride but much better wear than the Dunlop ST20's that only lasted 20,000 miles.
AFAIK Michelin don't make the Synchrones any more.
When they wore out on my Freelander I replaced them with Continental 4x4 Cross Contact which were even longer lasting.0 -
My 2000 Astra still has the original tyres on the back, no sign of perishing or cracking so far.Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.0

I was shocked to find out that the current VX Corsa weighs more than my 10 year old Vectra
The kerb weight of the lightest Vectra, according to Parkers is 1357kg.Vauxhall don't list the kerb weight of the new Corsa, just the gross weight, which is the weight of the car with the maximum permissible load on board. The maximum load of the Vectra would be in the region of 500-550kg so add that to the vehicle weight and you get a gross weight in the region of 1900kg.
Now, what is the gross weight of the new Corsa? According to Vauxhall it's between 1575 and 1680kg, depending on engine specified.
Now, how does that work out to be heavier than your Vectra?"You should know not to believe everything in media & polls by now !"
