What's 'sheeted glass'? How can it be possible to copy without scanning?

Put the paper you want to copy on the "sheeted glass" and press the green diamond button at the bottom.

If you want to copy double sided put the paper that printed back in printed side down, turn over the sheet on the scanner and press the green button again.

thx for the info it can copy but not the way i want it to....

e.g when I copy documents you just put it in feeder so machine feeds it through then prints out document as it is... without using sheeted glass etc

My canon pixma which I think is a more recent version of yours doesn't have a document feed, you can only copy by putting on the sheeted glass.
Surely you can tell by looking at it if there's a document feed? If not, then the answer to your question is no.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

If there is no document feeder, then the only option is to copy one page at a time.

I would think you need a Photocopier to do that not an all in one inkjet printer copier.

There are a plenty of all-in-one that allow document feeding (via an ADF) for copying, but the device the OP has has just a simple flatbed scanner on top.
