Did I tell you about Malcesine at Lake Garda ?

Went there many years ago.
Anyway there was a techy fault on the Charter plane on the way back, which resulted in the flight being cancelled and having to fly to Stansted the next working day instead with a free coach trip back to my local airport.
Anyway no complaints as I got the cost of my holiday refunded back to me by the airline so it was a 9 day holiday for less than £100-00 lol ! Great value for money !!
If I remember correctly, the holiday company was Islands Getaways. Not sure if they still exists but who cares.

It's really nice to be informed of the largesse of Island Getaways which operates exclusively in the islands of, er, Guernsey and Jersey. I myself would be similarly pleased to have my money back if I'd booked a holiday in St Helier and had to spend it in Italy instead, so thanks, OP, for the heads-up! :j It's amazing, really, what you get to hear about on MSE.0
