British Gas - Gas Meter Installation Costs?

Hi, I hope you can help.

I am having a new Gas Supply Connection installed tomorrow as I am in the process of having Gas Central Heating installed. This only includes the gas supply and not the meter which needs to be installed by my Gas Provider. Does anyone have a rough idea of the cost that British Gas charge to provide and install a Gas Meter?

Hi - most of the Big suppliers will do it for free if you agree to one of their tariffs. This is from the EDF website:

Standard domestic gas meters are free of charge.
