Hi All
Commercial Property took a bit of a rap this year after all the big gains to be made over the previous years but do people still think it's a good investment. I myself have a ISA fund in European Commercial Property and it was the only one of my funds constantly down over this past fewe months (until this week that is

I'm told (via reading Accountancy magazines) that the UK market is unattractive because of the buy in price but retail premises in Europe (exc. Germany) are a more attractive option over the next few years. The Nordic area (Stockholm in paricular) seems to be the top choice, followed by Italy. Myself - I am taking an interest in retail property in Dublin (but thats just cause my brother lives there, is involved in commerical construction has a good knowledge on this sort of thing, nothing done or dusted just yet). Again - with the way mortgages are going, the yield on rental may just about cover all bases inititally.
