I have found a branch close to me so will call in and have a chat with them. I am hoping my file will be clear of the negative info soon but am still paying off the DMP and know that some banks won't like that as they just see it as getting into more debt. The fact is that I have to live somewhere and a mortgage would cost roughly the same as rent where I am looking to buy so makes sense to me. I like the sound of being able to talk things like that through with a real person.0
