LOL edinburghlass! ;D I know what you mean! Hang on, I can feel something off script coming on...
"Yes, that sounds entirely reasonable - I appreciate you don't want a Your Plan tariff because it's much more expensive than the one you have and, no, you don't need it - and furthermore we will give you a reasonable price for a handset upgrade because you are such a reliable and long-suffering customer, rather than trying to charge you £100 for a handset that was cutting edge two years ago."
Oh, sorry, I just woke up... ::)

LOL - you lightweight
50 mins on hold to BT Mobile customer services (sic) - then it drops the call. Go back to the start, do not pass go, do not collect £200. Nor any customer service, come to think of it.
Guess who just switched from Orange to BT Mobile.
D'ohWarning ..... I'm a peri-menopausal axe-wielding maniac0 -
While orange may be a bit pants on the CS front at the moment, I hear its not the worst. Also at least the phone call is free to CS (if you on contract)."An eye for an eye leaves the whole world blind" - Mahatma Gandhi0

It gets worse!!!!!!!!!! much worse!!! :o
I called again last night...45 minutes this time but I did get through in the end..Was calling to report a phone problem.....(my phone seems to have a fault where no one can hear you on the other end). The orange guy couldnt' hear me either so had to call me back on my landline..anyway I digress..
Problem was my phone.....had the phone since July (Sony Ericsson P900), pay £5 a month insurance. The phone has not been dropped/misused/abused etc..so the problem developed of its own accord. Was told that the only way to fix problem would be to replace the phone. No problem I thought, only to be told that ALL phone replacements will now be subject to a £15 surcharge, this is for all replacements whether it be lost/stolen/warranty whatever......... Not only do I think this is unjust..whats the point in paying £5 a month if you also have to pay for a replacement phone in any case.. The guy from Orange likened it to excess on Car insurance... As it happens I wasn't charged the £15 as it was my first claim........this also annoyed me..I didn't lose or break the phone..why should this be a claim??
Incidentally...last year I lost my phone and didn't have insurance and had to pay a £50 emergency replacement fee.........lets think about that 12 x £5 insurance or 1 x £50...the orange guys answer to this was that because my phone is a smartphone it would be over £300 for an emergency replacment...not convinced at all...
Needless to say that when the new phone comes tonight I shall be layering it in 3 inch thick bubblewrap and making holes for the microphone and earpiece!!
Rant Over..thanks for listening!!!! ;D0
