</p>I agree with you to a point, yes the location of the signs outside Stormont is a waste. Town planners and roads service dont have a clue here in Norn Iron.
Am I correct in thinking that stretch of raod used to be 40mph?
I thought that until i got a speeding fine outside the ulster there was absolutly no speed signs all the way down that road at the time, I was only over here for a year or so by then. Its not a built in area at that point and where I came from in Mansfield, the road is a dual carriageway outside that hospital and is 40 miles an hour......Didn't help me mind you, I did pay more for the fine having an english licence but for somereason, no points were put on the licence some bi law over here I would imagine, but if anyone can tell me why that is I'd be most interested. As for the slowing down of speed, yes, they are a waste of money, but so are traffic cops hiding behind bus shelters
