Hi,
I have been pondering for a week or two and cannot find the answer on the Internet.
I have two current account with different banks at the moment. I would like to switch one to HSBC to benefit from the switchover incentive. But I would like to keep the other as a I have graduate account with a free overdraft.
If I switched would they close both my current accounts?
Any help appreciated.

As Vortigern says above, the only account that would be closed is the one you are switching.
The other account, especially if it's with another bank, is entirely irrelevant. It would not even be mentioned in the switching process and has no part whatsoever in the process.
You can have as many current accounts as you like, with as many banks as you like. The account switching process is just what it says it is - switching ONE account.0 -
