    If you do send the letter, and I can certainly understand your frustration, I would change the wording slightly. Replace "regarding your failure" with "regarding the failure of the company".
    Your gripe is with the company rather than the individual.

    You have 7.5k worth of training that you aren't using - in your position I'd be jumping on that and seeing it as a benefit. For one it will refresh you, opening new avenues of thought and providing energy (depends on the course though!) and secondly it could help you secure a different role - which is what I'd be doing as soon as courses complete (check no payback clause).

    I would also hold off threatening to leave and I wouldn't send that letter - though I would verbally let my manager know how disappointed I was. I would also be updated my linked in profile with the latest information...

    I am not threatening to leave? I am just putting a marker down. I do enjoy my job and it may me a while to find something else that is suitable. Why do you think I am threatening to leave?

    It's implied. You stayed on the basis thay would increase your pay,they didn't. The implication is that you will thereofre not stick to your side of the bargain.

    Also, if you do decide to send that e-mail (which I don't recommend. It comes across as a threat) proofread it I don't know what you mean to say when you typed .

    I agree with PPs - make time to do the training, start to look for another job, and consider speaking to your manager to see whether there is room for any other option - for instance extra holiday time in lieu of the pay rise.

    And start to look for another job.

    If I received that letter I would take it as a clear threat to leave given the strength of the feelings expressed and the fact that you mention the 'promised' pay rise as being instrumental in your decision not to leave.

    It was foolish for the manager to leave you with the impression that a pay rise would be forthcoming but a letter like this would make me less sympathetic to your case.
    loose does not rhyme with choose but lose does and is the word you meant to write.

    If your intention isn't to leave what is the point of the letter then? They aren't going to pay you the extra money. You either have to accept this or leave.
  • I would also, if you send the email, (and I wouldn't; I would communicate verbally) stop talking about "offers from company x". That's not relevant. What matters is that they said they would increase your salary, not what led up to it.

    Also though, I would leave. They clearly can't be trusted.
  • It's too emotional. Make it short, factual and to the point.

    You have to be prepared that it may make your working life very difficult, is that what you want to achieve? you may want to start looking for a new job.

    I would just like to put on record my disappointment that you (company name) again failed to honour our agreement on ....."
