Hi there..
Still considering flooring options for Hallway & Kitchen..
Got a sample of Quickstep Impressive Burned Planks ( Laminate)from flooringsupplies.co.uk.
We like this one, may just be a bit too dark, but still thinking about it - costs £20 m2 at flooring supplies.
However had a mooch round some local shops and saw some Palio Clic Wood Planks and liked the look of the " Lucca " pattern.
We have a concrete floor, and the lady in the shop said we would have to lay the planks over plywood, but the installation instructions in the brochure make no mention of this, it does say that an underlayment is not required for installation but can be used if additional sound insulation is required ( we would want this )
To be honest I don't think the lady in shop was that clued-up, she did say it was a pretty new product at the shop.. no problem as I was just browsing.
She Quoted me £35 m2 which is a lot more expensive than the quickstep, but probably cheaper elsewhere.
Basically just asking if anyone has used the Palio Clic and interested in feedback, pros and cons etc - also if you used underlay with it, what type did you use ?
Cheers
