Travel Insurance and Hurricanes ?

I've just booked a fortnight in Cancun and completely forgot about the hurricane season out there. After a bit of investigation, I find to my alarm that not only is this year expected to be more active than most, but the peak of the hurricane season is 10th Sept - bang in the middle of our holiday !! Not only that, but the area statistically gets hit every 2.8 years and was last demolished by Hurricane Wilma in 2005 !!
I've yet to arrange travel insurance, and was wondering what the score is on this and hurricanes, generally. More specifically, are there policies out there that give more hurricane cover than most, and how would I find those ?
Many thanks.
Kev.

As hurricanes are classed as acts of God, very few (if any) policy will provide you with any cover.Gone ... or have I?0
