Going to Crete and Travel Insurance

A friend of mine is off to Crete and she has a few questions so I thought I would ask on here.
Do she need to have any jabs before going out to Crete?
Also my friend has a lot of health problems ranging from the known to the unknown. Does any one know of any travel insurance people / companies that will actually insure her if so are they reasonably priced?
Sorry this is all a bit vague but I cant really go into her health problems.
Any help and advice on this is much appreciated.
