  • Just an little update. :) :j

Well they did finally call me back and complain that it would be petty of me to chase them for 1p. I said I agreed but hadn't made up my mind what I was going to do, I was considering enforcement action or asking the Judge to hold them in contempt for such a pattern of unreasonable behavior.

Pretty quickly I get the following cheque in the post.

The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life. :)
  • A great triumph for the little people. Well done and congratulations.
I USED TO BE INDECISIVE BUT NOW I'M NOT SO SURE!

Rich people tell you that money doesn't bring you happiness just so the poor people don't feel jealous.

Are you going to cash it?

If it was the solicitor for easyjet making the original cheque payment I would make a complaint about the solicitor to The Office for Supervision of Solicitors @ The Law Society. Why let dirtbags get away with it?

Look at the words on that cheque - they're still trying to short change you by 0.99 pence (£0.099) :rotfl:
