Advice please

Options
Hi all, wondered if someone could give me some advice, not sure if I am in the right place.

My boyfriend has been having problems with a new lloydstsb card, everytime he puts it into a ATM which is not a lloyds and tried to withdraw it has said unable to process this transaction.
On recieving his bank statement, the money has still come out of his account. How this has happened I am not sure

Does anyone have any advice? We went into the bank, they have said they will investigate this, but this was a week ago!

If it's a debit card for a current account, this is in the wrong section, if its for a credit card then he is lucky it's not being accepted at ATM's, its probally to stop him being charged stupidly high rates for withdrawing cash on a cc

Unfortunately the OP indicated that the money had come out of the bank account (that his bank statement showed it had been paid) though no money had been received.

So, the question could be asked again in the budgeting and current account section of the forum.

However, I think the OP's boyfriend needs to double-check that there wasn't a reversing of the payment - so that the money wasn't really deducted from the account. If there really have been withdrawals from the account, get in touch with LTSB to get it sorted.
