Refusal to hand dads personal items over

My dad died last year, He still lived in the same house as my Mom since there divorce in 1974. They lived separate lives. I got the probate so that i could sort things out. At 1st my mom was ok so we gave her 16,000 out of the money that he had left, now she has had this she wont let us have any of his personal items or…

Probate and executors don't come into it if there is no will.

Letters of administration is the way to go. You need to see a solicitor, most will give you half an
hour of free advice.
