adminastrative error question?

my partner, got caught up in the stay at the ombudsman, part of his complaint envolved,a copy of the woolwich electron user guide, which does not demonstrate proper use of the card i.e , it does not say anything about charges, delayed earmarking of funds from yor account, or that some of your transactions are not being instantly authorized as many of us belived, which in turn has led many of us to get charged in the first place, because we belive the balance on our accounts to be true.it isn't shown that it may take anything up to about five days to come up to date ,by then if you get paid on a weekly basis and make lots of card trasactions after you get paid it's already too late.your skint by day five and about to get charged again. so my question is.. could this be seen as an adminastrative error, so that we might be able to proceed with this ?

maybe if ,i can't get any,i will just tell him to take a chance that this will get things moving.,if the two issues are seperated, cost of charges, and faliure to inform it's customers about the use of it's products, so on ,and so forth. wot harm can it do to ask the ombudsman to investigate the latter and see if it works?if it doesn't work he will just have to wait.let you know what happens.

Get a note book and a pencil and deduct every payment from the balance as soon as it is made. Easy!

easier said than done in some cases,do you not think it is up to the bank to
warn us about this, when you get a card? i do, as for many of us this is something you just stumble upon after getting charged a few times , but can't see how, coz your balance said you had enough funds, and like the cashpoint and internet banking service says your latest transaction will show.

my point is ..not on the user guide ,the statements ,at the cash point ,on internet banking does it say.please be aware some of your transactions may not show, it may take up to 5 days for them to show, infact as i point out in my other posts this is the opposite to what they say to us, which is not a true representation.of course, now we know better ,but this is no thanks to them,as we had to get charged a few times to find this out for ourselves the hard way.i personally think this might be something we might be able to use to our advatages.

isn,t there anyone out there who ,might know whether this just might work? hopefully someone in the know, but i'd also like to hear what everyone else thinks, before i get him to send it off.

well, i've got him to write the ombudsman now, seperating the two issues cost of charges, and faliure to inform it's customers, about delayed earmarking, making false statements(your latest transactions will show on your acount).we will just have to wait and see what will happen. just can't sit around waiting.coz his claim is quite big and we could do with a little bit of luck.
