A great site is

https://www.kiddicare.com, everyone I know who has used it has had an excellent service from them, they also price match if you find an item cheaper online.

    Hi

I've used kiddicare and thought they were very good - but a couple of other good cheap baby stuff sites are:

    https://www.babycare-direct.co.uk

    https://www.twoleftfeet.co.uk

    Hope this helps someone.

If you can find someone to carry out a thorough safety check or are able to do this yourself then ebay is also a good place to pick up baby items.

The problem I have found with used baby items where there may be a safety issue (prams, car seats etc..) is that retailers and manufacturers know that you are hardly going to put your baby at risk and play up the saftey aspect. In reality there should be no more risk in buying a used car seat than in moving a seat from one car to another. The biggest problems are probably where there are no instruction leaflets which is when fittings may not be fastened correctly so you should insist on getting the original instructions (but these may be available online). The only other caveat I would add is to check for supplier recalls and safety notices. These are usually very easy to get on the net.

    another thumbs up for kiddiecare

we use the store as its not too far away, you can save a fair wack compared to mothercare, bought a stroller at the weekend it was £50 cheaper thats a big saving.

The bonus deals are good value too, if you buy instoe you dont have to buy a normal priced product to get them

:D I have found one of the best places to buy discounted named brands is lesters Discount Nursery World in Manchester. https://www.lesters-nurseryworld.co.uk. They stock most of the mamas and papas range for a lot less than M and P do and have many other offers which I have found to be unbeatable. The assistants are really helpful and they can deliver anywhere in the country. We saved £50 on the cheapest price we could find for our Jane 360, £20 on a Tomy Premiere digital and Avent and baby Bjorn products. Give them a go.

    Best to avoid twoleft.co.uk!
ordered goods, waited two weeks, told delivery on thursday, on wednesday got a call from supplier saying will be another two and a half weeks. I am expecting twins any day so the order had to be cancelled. I had to get them from another supplier and pay twice the cost. No apology from twoleftfeet. The customer service is terrible, no reply to e-mail or phone calls.

kiddicare.com is cheap, but order early as they only get back to you by e-mail in 5 working days, so it is a bit boring waiting if you have a query. I wish I lived near to their store.
It is not MY fault that I never learned to accept responsibility!
