Correct, it'd be harrassment, and they would stand no chance in court if you have a paper trail of the landowner telling them to drop it.

Well, fortune favours the brave! Just received a email from the manager at Armtrac. Which states following receipt of my email and consultation with the harbour master, they have decide to cancel the PCN. (Slight punch in the air by me! )
Thank you all for your assistance and pointing me to various threads and links.
Shame, I was starting to enjoy pulling apart their claims.

It's been a couple of weeks since DWMT last visited the forum; it may be that once the case is resolved, like many posters, they don't come back. Try to send a PM with your request; he/she should receive an email to notify that you are trying to make contact.

Unfortunately the harbour master is not now helping anyone. I purchased and displayed a ticket on Sunday - it was hot, hot and sunny, and the sticky on the label obviously wasn't up to the job. Discovered a PCN stuffed down under the windscreen wiper yesterday. Having read the above I was hopeful a local resident might find a little local help from the local harbourmaster. Oh no! Hands tied, nothing he can do. If the operative can't see the ticket, you are liable. Rip off Cornwall triumphs again. No wonder people go abroad for their holidays!0
