Or donated to charity shops,Don't worry too much. Most tat that is given at a christening just gets shoved in a cupboard. 48 years later I have a lovely collection of silver trinkets in my loft .... after my parents got fed up with it cluttering up theirs.
I agree with LilElvis that a book would be a lovely (and hopefully useful) gift.
Complete Tales of Peter Rabbit or maybe complete collection of Mr Men and Little Miss.
But then again, I am and always have been an avid reader.0 -
Present is for baby.
And I also go for book(s)! Hopefully, will be read to, then read by the little one.
You can find some lovely hardback storybooks OR go for a collection, like others have said: mr men, winnie the pooh, real dahl...classic stuff. (try Book People if you have time to order)0 -
My daughter got a lovely name print for her christening from some friends. It's beautiful x0
