Need to earn extra cash to pay off student overdrafts!!!

I have £2500 worth of debt in two overdrafts and I have just finished uni. Luckily they are still interest free but only for the next year.
I am currently working in Athens and on the amount of money I am earning I can only afford to save around £50 a month, so I need to figure out how to earn some extra cash.
I work quite long hours and as I have said i'm working in Greece at the moment but if anyone has any ideas it would be much appreciated!
(I've already put all my uni books on Amazon and am looking into acquiring some freelance work on the net.)
Any suggestions are more than welcome and thanks for your time in anticipation.

I too would find this very helpful0 -
If you've got a small amount of disposable income I'd highly recommend Matched Betting; it's risk-free and once you've generated a bit of cash there are some big bonuses to be had. Have a look at:
hxxp://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/forumdisplay.html?f=41
where there's a lovely introductory guide which takes you through the basics. There's also a lot of knowledgeable people just waiting to help you out. To give you an idea of how much money you can make, I've been going for about 6 weeks and have just hit the £1000 mark.0 -
Well. I think if someone need some extra cash the last he/she must do is gambling friend0

If I am correct... matched betting is not gambling... as long as you follow the rules. That's what I gathered anyway.RickyRah wrote:I've been going for about 6 weeks and have just hit the £1000 mark.
I'm a struggling mature student and every time I see success stories like this, I'm more tempted to give it a try... but I'm also a wimp
Out of my mind. Back in five minutes.0 -
I must second the motion towards matched betting. Its very profitable, and can give quick results. Downside is that it does require approx £50 to start off really, but you could easily turn that to £200 by the end of the week.
And quire rightly said, it isnt gambling providing it is done correctly.0 -
natalie - do you have a lot of stuff at home that you can sell on the likes of ebay?
dvds/music - sell on ebay or to cex.co.uk or musicmagpie..
video games - sell on ebay, cex.co.uk, tradeyourstuff.co.uk or gamemagpie
text books - try greenmetropolis as well as amazon..
it all adds up!0 -
How about becoming an extra on TV/film?
It's not great pay as such, but you get free meals and spend many hours waiting around - which you could use to research matched betting or other money-making schemes.0 -

The last thing a person must do, apart from making a rash and unknowledgable judgement, is to revive a thread from 18 months ago.I'm the only gay in this forum
